The Inspector panel lets you define the attributes of the stage and the selected objects. It grants several sub-panels you can select clicking on the icons on the top line: Stage, Geometry, Textures, Object Parameters, Alignments, Static Lights, Scripts, Sprites Library and File Browser.
• Stage: on this panel you can set the size of the stage window, the background color and the background image or movie. Also you can set the master volume, the antialias level and the duration of the animation.
• Geometry: on this panel (picture here aside) you can set the geometrical values of the selected objects, as positions, rotations, size and other values as the opacity, the volume of the texture movie applied on the surface (if any), the object to link. You can also assign the key frames to a given parameter, e.g. to the Positions and Rotations.
• Textures: on this panel you can set the image textures and the movie textures to each face of the selected objects.
• Object Parameters: on this panel you can set several attributes specific for the selected object as the smoothness of the surfaces, the radius of a sphere, invert normals, receive lights, display the object as wire frame.
• Alignment: on this panel you can align the selected objects in several ways.
• Static Lights: on this panel you can set the static lights of the scene.
• Script: on this panel you can assign a script to the selected objects and add interactivity to the animation. For example, you can tell Kinemac to run another animation when the user clicks on a given object or hits a given key. You can tell Kinemac to quit or to go to a given frame. You can tell Safari to go to a given URL.
• Sprites Library: on this panel you can save animated sprites to a library then reuse them in other projects. Simply drag your sprites from the Sprites hierarchical list to the Sprite Library panel to save that sprite. Drag the sprite from the library to the Stage or the Sprites panel to reuse that sprite in the current animation.
• File Browser: on this panel you can browse your images, movies, text and any other file format Kinemac can import. Drag the selected files onto the Stage to import them into your animation.
